Prayer Meetings
This week, we will continue to have a joint prayer and pursuing meeting on Tuesday, August 31, at 7:30 PM at the meeting hall.
Current prayer burdens:
- Pray that the saints will have a renewed desire to be perfected through the recent conferences and trainings.
- Pray for spiritual companionship and more active participation of the saints in various aspects of the church life.
- Pray that more saints will be raised up to be shepherds to the new ones and those who need to be encouraged and cared for.
- Pray for the financial needs of the church as presented recently in the meeting on the Lord's Day.
- Pray that we will learn to cultivate a deeper relationship with the Lord and allow the Spirit to energize and vitalize us in our church life.
- Pray for a renewed desire and practice to feed on God's Word on a daily basis. Reading schedules in English or Chinese can be downloaded on the Resources page.
Lord's Day Meeting
This coming Lord's Day, September 5, some of us will be attending the conference in Troy, Michigan. Those of us who are staying in Mississauga will be meeting together (English and Chinese combined). The schedule will be as follows:

Labour Day Conference
The Labour Day conference from September 4 to September 6 is a special annual gathering of the churches in the Great Lakes area for all languages. Details of the conference can be found at this link.
Sisters' Conference
There will be a conference for sisters from September 24 to September 26 at the Ashland Woods Fellowship Center in Ohio. Please sign up as soon as possible as space is limited and is filling up fast.
